We are your local chapter of the leading upland wildlife habitat conservation group, Pheasants Forever, “The Habitat Organization” – www.pheasantsforever.org – Serving Grant & Douglas County. Our primary objective is to conserve habitat for quail and pheasants, but we also emphasize through education, the importance of youth & new hunters to the conservation of the Uplands.
The Columbia Basin Chapter of Pheasants Forever board meets once a month for planning meetings. Events, such as our annual youth hunts, are planned to introduce new hunters to hunting, and provide opportunities to form skills during organized hunting events. Habitat Enhancement projects are planned, and often utilize volunteers throughout our chapter area. In addition we hold fund raising efforts to support the goals of this organization. If you want to get involved in any of these efforts, contact us by using the contact page.
We are always looking for public & private habitat enhancement projects throughout Grant and Douglas counties. We welcome your input to help us identify and develop site plans which will support Upland Bird conservation.
